Assistant Volunteer Jobs
An assistant volunteer job may involve assisting a department in filing paperwork, shredding documents, and possibly assisting in various other assignments as directed. An assistant volunteer may operate cash registers and other equipments, telephones, and may look after restocking, light cleaning, and attendance training. An assistant volunteer’s task in fundraising may include recruiting businesses and organizations to adopt schools for the week, printing out certificates and nametags for the readers at spotlight school, and finding churches that are close to schools that are participating coordinate and help with fundraisers.
An assistant volunteer requires at least two years of undergraduate education. An assistant volunteer should have some field experience, administrative skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office (or willingness to learn), organized, attention to detail and a positive attitude. Passion for helping those less fortunate is always a plus for an assistant volunteer job.
