Volunteer Coordinator Jobs
A volunteer coordinator job involves completing all project administration deal with all copyright issues and ensuring all volunteers are fully trained and maintaining a high level of performance develop policies and procedures. A volunteer coordinator works in community support team in agreeing priorities for personnel requesting the service and liaises with project stakeholders and provides monthly reports for the director of welfare and manages budgets in conjunction. A volunteer coordinator ensures the volunteers are supported and feel valued even on the occasions they are not directly working and devise strategies to ensure volunteers give a commitment. A volunteer coordinator is responsible for getting feedback from volunteers after the camps and breaks, collating and acting upon it as required and represents the charity at internal and external meetings. A volunteer coordinator recruits, trains and provides oversight for volunteers and interns who may work with domestic violence survivors, provides advocacy for survivors and public speaking, and may requires knowledge/training in domestic violence.
A volunteer coordinator requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, or related field experience. A volunteer coordinator should be able to think on feet and respond quickly; must be articulate professional, upbeat and positive and have good communication skills.
