Volunteer Program Management Jobs
A volunteer program management job involves coordination, marketing, promotion, and administration of the organization and managing web networking sites, contacting businesses, organizations and participants, writing newsletter, contacting forums and events websites, writing press releases, dealing media relations, sourcing venues and working on logistics. A program management volunteer provides social housing, community health and fitness facilities, development opportunities and a range of children’s services; client encourages, supports and challenges young people. A program management volunteer is also responsible for development of quality volunteering opportunities for young people in the area and help to evaluate the community impact of volunteering in area. A program management volunteer markets the service to schools and coordinates distribution of fundraising materials and arranges for collection of donations as per schedule. A program management volunteer coordinates consulting services and liaises with volunteering and work placement agencies.
A program management volunteer requires proven experience within the voluntary sector and the needs. A program management volunteer should have well developed IT skills, coupled with experience of making presentations and delivering training. A program management volunteer should be creative and enthusiastic with an outgoing personality, should be confident dealing with people: face to face, on the phone and via email and have office administration and good leadership/management skills.
