Conduct needs assessment study.
Develop and conduct on-going in-service training programs.
Coordinate division's training of personnel.
Supervise/coordinate volunteer activities.
Write news/periodical articles.
Prepare/write statistical Reports.
Conduct orientation session for new employees.
Schedule/record reservations for meeting rooms/space.
Compile data/information for reports, cost estimates, etc.
Prepares work schedule.
Train personnel in performance of job tasks.
Deliver speeches to civic and community groups.
Perform other tasks as required
- Supervision and/or Leadership Exercised:
Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities including selection, training, evaluation, counseling, and recommendation for dismissal
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
Knowledge of community organizations.
Skill in dealing with the general public.
Skill in maintaining and establishing effective working relationships with other City employees and the public.
Ability to recruit, screen and assign volunteers to appropriate tasks or projects
