Faith at Work Event Manager
The Faith at Work Event Manager
will manage event content and design for all chapels and Faith@work events that are focused on our multidenominational and diverse staff faith experiences and expression. You will play an important role in furthering the spiritual formation of staff through World Vision offerings and classes. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.
Engage with all appropriate World Vision US staff members and leaders to set event strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
Recruit and train volunteers for worship events.
Ensure proper execution of event preparation and production details.
May have responsibility for event marketing.
Report on event results, analyze effectiveness and recommend modifications to future event strategy is needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).
In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 4 years work experience including successful large-scale event planning/management.
Program management experience preferred.
Ability to value and interact with Christians from a variety of diverse theological backgrounds, doctrines and church traditions and denominations.
Experience creating worship, Bible teaching, spiritual education offerings for adults or young adults strongly preferred.
Must be able to work 20 hours a week.
