The Substance Abuse Counselor responsible for performing direct service delivery of substance abuse nature in the outpatient department. This position involves working with individuals and families affected by substances one on one and/or in a group setting. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). High school diploma, college degree preferred. Experience with criminal justice population preferred. Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment and crisis management. Able to provide individual, family and group therapies.
