Learn more at ****Central City Recovery - Residential Treatment for your substance-use disorder, the program ranges from 30 to 120 days depending on medical necessity and the need of a controlled environment to establish a foundation for recovery. Our co-ed program provides an evidence-based trauma-informed care model of utilizing cognitive behavior therapy and motivational interviewing. Program emphasis includes instruction on developing coping and life skills allowing each individual to maintain a healthy, productive lifestyle and overcome the stress and barriers to successful daily living. We provide wrap-around services including assessments, individual and group therapy and counseling, treatment planning, case management and referrals. All potential patients must have or qualify for Medi-Cal or My Health LA coverage within Los Angeles County. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria: be over 18 years of age, have an imminent need for substance-use disorder treatment, and to be comfortable in a multicultural setting with individuals of diverse ethnicities and lifestyles.
• Management Level position that performs a full range of administrative duties Including staff management, budget preparation, monitoring, and program development
• Responsible for the design, plan and ensure Implementation of program activities, Including successful delivery of services
• Coordinate and supervise all program services, ensure group schedule meets needs of county contract requirements
• Responsible for the monitoring of program budgets and units of service of provision to ensure contract compliance
• Responsible for the hiring and development of the orientation, Integration, training, on-boarding, scheduling, supervision, and regularly review of staff
• Manage employee relations ensuring a collaborative, cohesive and professional work environment
• Take Initiative and hands-on approach to problem solving and guidance on how to address crisis situations
• Responsible for the development and implementation of alcohol and other drug programs Including annual program plans; monitors programs for compliance with county, state and federal laws; assists county and state officials with program audits; may respond to audits and recommend program changes
• Develops program goals and objectives; develops and Implements program policies and procedures in compliance with county, state and federal regulations; assists In developing department policies, procedures, goals and objectives
• Perform special project assignments such as assisting in developing, implementing and modifying curricula; performing special assignments related to new programs or changes in existing programs; developing and implementing new procedures; resolving Issues in delivery of services and operations
Qualifications Required:
• BA/BS degree in related field and/or at least five (5 ) years’ experience working In behavioral healthcare related field with adult population Preferred administrative oversight of multidisciplinary team
• Possession of current certificate as an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselor issued by a certifying agency approved by the State of California, Certification must be maintained, as defined by DHCS
• At least five (5 ) years exempt level experience in the field of alcoholism, or substance use disorders
• At least two (2) of the ‘five (5) years' experience must be in an administrative capacity that includes staff oversight, employee performance appraisals and fiscal management
• Electronic Health Records experience and knowledge
• ASAM knowledge
• Knowledge of Drug Medi-Cal and Los Angeles County services provision
• Experienced with moderate to severe mental health symptoms and treatment delivery
Technology Skills:
• Computer skills (including typing, emails, software use), HMIS, Excel, Word
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong written and verbal communication, set priorities, handle multiple tasks, problem solving, decision making, interpret data, detail oriented, accurate, analytical, organize, read/write; proficient in understanding and communication of the spoken and written English language, meet established deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred administrative oversight of multidisciplinary team
• Preferred experience such as nonprofit administration, program development, program evaluation and/or program quality assurance
• Bilingual
• Supervisor Level Alcohol and Drug Certification
