Bacheloru2019s degree in business or health care, with two to four years similar work experience or an Associates degree with direct volunteer supervisory experience. Two years of experience working with volunteers or in a related field (social work, human resources, or healthcare administration) preferred. Desire to work within the long term care and Hospice environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with diplomacy with all levels of staff and volunteers. Excellent oral and written skills, as well as excellent computer skills (including database management) are necessary to maintain required documentation. Must be able to multi-task with frequent interruptions throughout the day. Attention to detail necessary to schedule adequate volunteer levels to meet the needs. Excellent organizational skills a must. Ability to present materials to volunteers and potential volunteers for orientation and training purposes. Excellent problem solving skills. Must be able to work independently and make decisions, but within the structure of the entire team.
