We have a new opening for a Part Time, 20hrs/wk Registered Nurse to work in our New Recovery Center at York Hospital. This position is located in York, Maine. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following: · Triage nursing skills, ability to obtain patient history, conduct assessment interviews, gather appropriate information, and synthesize into a clinical summary and recommendation for appropriate clinical services. · Preform physical assessments according to protocols and procedures, clinical competence in office specific procedural skills and treatments, vital signs, rooming patients, and proficient documentation/record keeping as required by appropriate regularity and review agencies. · Ability to organize and multitask as a forward-thinker, and remain calm and personable in a fast paced office setting. · Proficient telephone nursing triage and customer service skills acting as a liaison between patients, providers, and the care team to provide exceptional patient experiences. Provide primary phone triage for patients involved in MAT services, assuring contracts, norms and expectations are maintained. · Provide treatment planning, education and effective clinical interventions in individual, family, and/or group modalities. Evaluates learning needs and tailors patient and family education accordingly. · Proficiency to work within established standing order protocols as well as apply independent nursing judgement. Recognize and respond to abnormal diagnostic data. · Demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamics of a constantly changing health care environment and outpatient setting. · Continue professional development through the use of supervision, in-service training, and professional training resources outside of York Hospital. · Provides education and perception/validation of other clinical team member's competency in department care protocols and delivery of TRC services. · Pre-visit planning to assure availability of clinical documentation necessary to proceed with MAT inductions. · Effectively engage patients in TRC care processes with primary outcome of safety, treatment attendance and continuation of recovery. · Collaborate with treatment team members, evaluate patient care outcomes and effectiveness of interventions and inform team members responsible for the plan of care. Act as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care. · Processes pre-authorizations as appropriate. · Administers medications on as needed basis. · Provide efficient and effective care working with the care team during clinical sessions, in reliable, In order to help us continue to provide exceptional care for our patients and their families, we need candidates with the following experience: · Exceptional customer service skills · Attention to detail · Minimum of (3) or more years nursing experience – Substance Abuse experience is a plus
