Please note that this is an unpaid internship. This is an unpaid Volunteer / Intern position. Job Description u2022 Introduce high school and college aged students to Japanese language and culture. u2022 Enhance student development through lecture and facilitation of student discussion and activities. u2022 Prepare creative presentations and lectures on Japanese Theatre & Kabuki Movement. u2022 Educate students about Japanese culture and etiquette. u2022 Design curriculum to teach students about Japanese language and culture. u2022 Guide and encourage students to broaden their cultural horizons. u2022 Evaluate student progress and learning of Japanese Theatre, the Kabuki Movement, Japanese language, culture, and etiquette. u2022 Act as a mentor and resource person to students regarding the curriculum. Qualifications Advanced knowledge of Japanese Theatre & Kabuki Movement, along with Japanese language, culture, and etiquette. u2022 Prior teaching experience required. u2022 Strong communication and presentation skills. u2022 Ability to manage and provide instruction to students. u2022 A passion for womenu2019s education. u2022 Strong leadership skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and coordinate with other volunteers.
