Director Volunteer Services
Directs, organizes, plans, and implements the operations of Volunteer Services. May also hold responsibility for related departments including but not limited to Community Outreach and Hospice Services.
Interviews, hires, trains and supervises staff/volunteers; evaluates work, provides coaching and implements approved disciplinary action as appropriate.
Establishes and implements entity/department policy/procedure, budget, goals and regulatory requirements.
Develops and coordinates volunteer programs, community outreach, hospice.
Performs other duties such as participate/lead entity committees, leadership support for the auxiliary, community activities and participating with professional organizations.
Plans and organizes volunteer recognition events and prepares annual report.
BA/BS Degree in either management, human resources or social work.
5 year’s experience serving in a healthcare setting.
3 years’ experience managing budgets and supervising others.
Proficiency in health network program development.
Demonstrated ability to review and analyze data.
Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services.
Experience working with volunteers.
Experience recruiting, interviewing, and training.
Customer service and marketing experience, especially communications such as newsletter production, helpful.
