Job Description: Position Summary: The Voluntary Markets - Product & Enrollment Specialist will serve as RSLu2019s field-based subject matter expert (SME), working alongside RSLu2019s core group employee benefits Field sales force and NSO teams.Reporting to the Voluntary Enrollment Services Manager, he/she will work alongside the Sales and Account Management teams to deliver expertise to design and execute superior Voluntary Benefit solutions utilizing a broad slate of products, tools and technology customized to RSLu2019s specific customer needs. The Voluntary Markets - Product & Enrollment Specialist will provide ongoing Regional Sales Office training, consultative broker support and will participate in finalist presentations as a subject matter expert to RSLu2019s Field sales team. Success will be measured based upon the successful attainment of applicable enrollment and growth goals for his/her assigned territories. The Voluntary Markets - Product & Enrollment Specialist position will serve as the Voluntary products enrollment leader for RSL.In addition to maximizing new business enrollment results, he/she will proactively identify and drive the re-enrollment process for under-penetrated existing clients within RSLu2019s in-force block of business.u00a0He/she will work closely with the Regional Account Manager and/or Regional Sales Representative to implement customized retail strategies for existing Voluntary policyholders where incremental revenue opportunities may exist. The Voluntary Markets u2013 Product & Enrollment Specialist position will report to the Voluntary Enrollment Services Manager within their assigned territory. Duties and Responsibilities Pre-Sale Consultation and Enrollment Strategy and Business Development Participate in finalist presentations to leverage RSL expertise in the design and execution of superior Voluntary benefit solutions, in coordination with the RSL Field sales team as required. Generate new business by calling on brokers, both independent of and jointly with, RSLI Field Sales producers to bring sales ideas for delivering effective voluntary benefit solutions. Pre-Sale Consultation and Enrollment Strategy and Business Development Implement proactive broker awareness and education strategies, including conducting CE classes, to increase their Voluntary benefits pipeline. Provide Voluntary plan enrollment training to RSLu2019s Field sales team and service staffs in assigned territories. Maintain an ongoing market awareness of local/regional buying preferences and competitor capabilities. Perform ongoing Administrative Office advocacy regarding market-specific differentiation opportunities. Case Level Execution of Communication and Enrollment Activities Lead the enrollment process for Voluntary business sold within assigned territory, including but not limited to: nAssume total ownership of RSLu2019s Voluntary enrollment process for assigned territories, including client level strategies, internal and third party resource allocation and budget management. Create and implement client-specific (retail) strategies for key new customers.n nPerform enrollment resource/logistical coordination for extra-territorial and multi-site clients (within and outside assigned territory when required).n nProvide client implementation support, in coordination with the designated account management resource. Duties and Responsibilities In-force book support responsibilities nActively work the in-force book of Voluntary-only business to identify under-penetrated Voluntary clients for re-enrollment.n nContinually evaluate the in-force book of business for re-enrollment opportunities on under-penetrated Voluntary clients, influencing and participating (as the SME) in proactive broker/policy holder dialogue to secure buy-in for a re-enrollment strategy.n nPartner with Field Sales and/or Regional/National Account Management to pro-actively source, qualify and drive the cross sales process for in-force u201cemployer paidu201d RSL clients.This includes (but is not limited to) performing a proactive book of business review on a periodic basic with the assigned Regional/National Account Managers within the assigned territory.n nAs the Voluntary SME for the group employee benefits marketplace, the Voluntary Markets u2013 Product & Enrollment Specialist may be called upon to facilitate the successful resolution of elevated client service issues as required.n Education, Qualifications and Experience: nA High School (or equivalent) diploma required.Bacheloru2019s degree strongly preferred.n nMinimum three (3) years demonstrated success in a market-facing selling, distribution or service role u2013 ideally in the group employee benefits industry.n nSuperior knowledge of Voluntary group employee benefits, including subject matter expertise in the areas of short-term disability, long-term disability and group life insurance is required.n nMinimum there (3) years experience servicing Voluntary or contributory lines, as well as conducting and leading enrollment events.n nSuperior verbal presentation and influencing skills are required.n nAbility to multi-task competing priorities in a high pressure, autonomous environment.n nAbility to travel within assigned territory, including periodic overnight travel is required.u00a0 Life and Health license required.
