Counselors are responsible for:
Completing comprehensive assessment of clients’ substance abuse history and treatment requirements, and preparing individualized developmentally appropriate treatment plans
Providing individual and group counseling, and educational programs in accordance with treatment plans
Documenting treatment and discharge plans, and clients’ progress and responses to treatments; and maintaining related records and charts
Performing case management and contributing to client care monitoring
Other duties as assigned
Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
2 years clinical experience working with substance abusers preferred; 1 year TC experience preferred
Current CAP certification required; if not certified at hire, must have within 6 months of employment
This is a full-time position; some nights and weekends may be required
