View our Who We Are clip (or at ****World Vision is seeking Site Coordinators to drive meaningful impact at the elementary and middle school level.
The Site Coordinator will create quality academic opportunities for struggling students in grade levels ranging from K-4 and 5-8 through managing an after-school, community-based tutoring/mentoring program.
Responsibilities:
Help implement a specific local project to accomplish overall program goals and help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.
Assist in the development and implementation of ministry program strategies.
Monitor expenses and prepare reports on actual expenses relative to the program budget.
Summarize program data and outcomes for use in report development.
Recruit and train volunteers within the community as necessary for the success of the program.
Work collaboratively with program staff, and other WVUS staff and ministry partners.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Required Experience
Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent (four years) work experience.
In addition to education or educational equivalent, requires work experience in ministry programming or related area; 1-2 years.
