This position is located in Asheville, NC and serving people in Buncombe and Henderson Counties.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe Substance Abuse clinician on the team will directly support our clients by actively participating in a multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide clinical expertise in helping clients make real and lasting changes in their lives. Attend daily staff meetings and update team members with relevant information regarding clients' needs or issues. Will also be responsible for utilization review, treatment plans/reviews, discharge planning, clinical documentation, staff relationships, referral contacts and a variety of other duties. Will provide interventions to clients who have SMPI and addictions in a community setting. Will provide weekly groups discussing substance use, harm reduction, and coping skills. Assess and track stages of change readiness for individuals. This position will be the consultant and educator of fellow team members on integrated dual diagnosis treatment.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStaff will be traveling to community to see clients and provide support. Crisis response on call duty rotation that may include commitment procedures, after hour assessments, crisis planning, and hospital diversion.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEOE\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eUse of a company car, cell phone, and laptop provided.\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCSAC, LCAS/LCAS-A, or eligibility to achieve the certification or license within 90 days of employment.\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e (Supervision for this will be provided in house at not cost to the employee)\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCSAC must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field with 2 years post-graduate experience working with adults who have severe persistent mental illness.
